Rye, New Hampshire's dramatic oceanfront
stretches for nearly eight of New Hampshire's 18 miles of Atlantic
coastline and truly defines the feel of one of New Hampshire's
oldest towns. from it's beach front homes to the gracious estates on
tree lined boulevards, Rye evokes historical New England charm.
Rye is home to the Wentworth By The Sea Country Club, the Abenaqui
Country Club as well as the private Rye Surf Club. There are several
beaches and state parks in Rye including Wallis Sands Beach, Jenness
Beach, Rye North Beach and Rye Harbor. The town of Rye is primarily
residential and the town's strict growth guidelines keep new
construction rates relatively low compared to other Seacoast
communities. Much of the construction that happens in the area is
confined to rehabbing or updating of existing properties.
