Elevate Your
Luxury Brand
Three ways to qualify — including one built for markets where the median sits well below a million dollars. Premium marketing, global exposure, and economics traditional luxury brokerages can't match.
Three Independent Ways to Qualify
You do not need a million-dollar sale to join eXp Luxury. Meet any one of these three and you're eligible.
Three closed sides at $1,000,000+
Three closed transaction sides at or above $1,000,000, completed within the last 24 months.
Three closed sides at 3× your local MLS average
Three closed sides at three times the average sales price of your local MLS within the last 24 months. This is how most New Hampshire and Maine agents qualify — medians here sit well below $1M, so a Portsmouth or Portland agent writing solid mid-market business can meet this without ever closing a million-dollar sale.
Qualify on certification alone
Hold the eXp Luxury Certification, the CLHMS designation from the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing, or the NAR Luxury Homes Certification. No million-dollar sale required — and the eXp Luxury Certification is included with membership, so you can earn your way in.
Requirements are set by eXp and subject to change — confirm current criteria before applying.
Traditional Luxury Brokerages
Premium fees, diminishing returns. You're paying for a name — and on luxury price points, that name costs more than anywhere else in your business.
70/30 commission split
You hand nearly a third of every luxury commission to the house — on transactions where the dollar amounts are largest.
6% franchise fee
Skimmed off the top before your split is even calculated, on every side you close, forever.
No equity
You build the brand's enterprise value for years and own none of it when you leave.
No leveraged income
Your income stops the day you stop selling. There is no revenue attached to the agents you attract or mentor.
One $2.5M Sale, Two Outcomes
A $2,500,000 sale at a 2.5% commission produces $62,500 in gross commission income. Here is where it goes.
Traditional luxury brokerage
- Gross commission income
- $62,500
- 70/30 split
- −$18,750
- 6% franchise fee
- −$3,750
eXp Luxury, post-cap
- Gross commission income
- $62,500
- Transaction fee
- −$250
$22,250 more per transaction
Post-cap at eXp, the only deduction on that sale is a $250 transaction fee.

Certification Pathways
Any one of these credentials satisfies the credential route into eXp Luxury on its own.

Included with membershipCLHMS — Institute for Luxury Home Marketing
The Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designation, earned through the Institute's training and documented luxury performance. Recognized independently of eXp.
Third-party designationNAR Luxury Homes Certification
The National Association of REALTORS® luxury credential, covering the expectations, marketing standards and service level of the high-end buyer and seller.
Third-party certificationNew England's Luxury Market
Migration out of Boston, New York and the tech corridors keeps pressure on the top of the New England market — oceanfront on the Seacoast and southern Maine, lakefront in the Lakes Region, ski-access property in the White Mountains and northern Vermont, and historic estates from Portsmouth to Newport.
Very little of it clears $1,000,000 on a median basis, which is exactly why the 3× local MLS qualification route matters here: the agent selling the best house in the town is doing luxury work, whatever the raw price says.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Bean Group Luxury Guarantee
We will not put you in front of a luxury seller unprepared. Every Bean Group agent entering eXp Luxury gets a listing presentation review, a marketing plan built for the specific property, and a broker on the call for the first high-end appointment. If the program isn't producing for you in your first year, we'll say so and rework the plan with you rather than let the membership quietly renew.
