That is a statewide figure covering all ten counties, so individual towns vary widely around it — Seacoast and Rockingham County towns typically price above the state median, while the North Country and parts of Coos County price well below. - How long does it take to sell a home in New Hampshire?
Single-family homes that sold in New Hampshire in July 2026 spent an average of 23 days on market before an accepted offer, +9.5% year over year. That clock measures list date to accepted offer; add roughly another 30 to 45 days for a financed buyer to reach the closing table. Condition, pricing accuracy and price band all move the number: correctly priced, well-prepared homes in high-demand towns routinely go under contract inside two weeks, while over-priced listings sit far longer than the average suggests.
