Lake Sunapee sits at the center of this market, with Mount Sunapee at its southern end. New London is on the ridge above the lake's eastern shore, and Sunapee village sits at the lake's outlet to the west.

The market also includes Newbury, Springfield, Grantham, Wilmot, Andover, Sutton, Bradford, Warner and Washington.

Geography

Lake Sunapee spans Sunapee, Newbury and New London. Mount Sunapee rises above its southern shore and Mount Kearsarge stands to the east above Wilmot, Warner and Andover. The Sugar River flows west from the lake toward Claremont.

Landmarks and open space

Mount Sunapee and Mount Kearsarge are the market's two landmark summits. Pleasant Lake and Little Lake Sunapee lie in New London, Kezar Lake in Sutton, and Highland Lake in Andover.

Transportation and access

Interstate 89 runs diagonally through the market from Warner and Sutton past New London and Grantham toward Lebanon. Route 103 crosses from Warner to Newbury and Sunapee, and Route 11 links New London and Sunapee to Claremont.
