From the original brochure
A community shaped by its setting.
A look back at the ideas behind Tidewatch.
Tidewatch’s original vision began with the landscape: Sagamore Creek, salt marsh, wooded slopes and granite outcrops. It describes a 54-acre setting and a plan to cluster residences on higher ground, orienting homes toward the water and woods.
That vision brought together traditional coastal architecture and interiors designed for everyday living, with outdoor spaces connecting the two.

Coastal character.
The brochure pairs scalloped cedar shingles and narrow clapboards with an architectural approach inspired by nineteenth-century craftsmanship.
A connection outdoors.
Screened porches, patios and optional sunrooms appear in the original designs, extending living spaces toward the surrounding landscape.
Space for daily life.
Breakfast areas, fireplaces and attached garages were part of the original offering, alongside a choice of layouts and bedroom configurations.
About the original brochure and development team
The brochure identifies William S. Dogan Associates and Gunn Financial as the development partners, and Whittier & Dalton, Inc. as the general contractor. These are historical credits, not current management contacts.
It describes a proposal for 122 residences; the community inventory used here contains 117 numbered homes. The supplied records do not establish the reason for that difference. The brochure’s publication date has not been established.
